Anne tutored my Daughter in year 5 for a scholarship exam. Anne was fabulous.My daughter enjoyed her sessions with Anne and successfully attained a scholarship. I found Anne to help my Yr 6 daughter to extend her maths (although Anne would be equally able to help in writing and reading as well) and to make sure my daughter had maths confidence and all the right strategies in place before commencing high school. Anne has been absolutely amazing! I absolutely could not recommend her more highly, and I would recommend her as a tutor for kids of any age - whether for extension in maths or literacy, to help kids with learning difficulties, or just to help with general confidence and consolidation. I feel that Anne is complelely invested in the children she tutors; she strips away all the 'teacher jargon' to make everything simple and easy to understand for kids (and parents!) and is always keen to discuss ways in which she can really target her tutoring. My daughter has loved going to see Anne - she is always happy to go, and always comes home saying that it was 'fun', 'really helpful' or 'really good' (and this is on a Sunday night!). My daughter says she has much more confidence in her maths understanding and abilities now thanks to Anne, feels very ready for high school, and has enjoyed being stimulated in her sessions with Anne in a year that she found a little boring in the classroom at school, particularly in maths. My daughter successfully sat the SEAL test too (and was offered a place). Thank you, Anne! I am hoping we can keep her in the family for our next two children now :)​
